The rapier has sufficient firepower to absolutely melt lower tier ships with ease, and although its maneuverability isn't the best, it is certainly fast. Another, more engaging way to play the Rapier is as a silent hunter, using map obstacles to block enemy fire on approach. Therefore, the Rapier Frigate is best played as a sort of escort to larger capitals, helping take down larger targets while having the larger ship tank. The Rapier Frigate handles more like a light cruiser and feels like a stat padded Munificent The Rapier's mobility also isn't the best, and it certainly wont be dodging decently aimed shots anytime soon. Similarly to the Munificent, the Rapier Frigate has a low HP pool, but a high damage output. However, when commanded by tactical droids or the infamous General Grievous it became a formidable light warship capable of using its considerably large armament to stand its ground against the Republic's Venator Class Star Destroyer for some time or heavily assisting in one's destruction when in a battle formation. Manufactured in great numbers by the Commerce Guild and incorporated into the CIS Navy at the start of the Clone Wars, the Recusant was initially operated mostly by droid brains which gave it a nasty habit of colliding into other ships.
The Rapier Frigate is a Tier II Separatist capital ship from the Star Wars tech tree.
